January 14-15, January 21-22, January 28–29, 11am – 5pm
Warm up this winter during the Niagara Icewine Festival, with a duo of toasty grilled cheese sandwiches featuring local artisan breads and unique gourmet cheeses. Each tasting is perfectly paired with GreenLane’s 2008 Riesling Icewine. This unique pairing is exclusively available during the Niagara Icewine Festival, Discovery Pass Weekends at GreenLane Estate Winery.

Icewine Tasting: GreenLane’s 2008 Riesling Icewine
Grilled Cheese #1: Sweet & Savoury
Savoury gorgonzola brie is contrasted with sweet onion jam, on a fresh multigrain baguette and garnished with spinach.
Grilled Cheese #2: Sharp & Smoky
Premium aged white cheddar is melted on a classic baguette topped with double smoked bacon, arugula and contrasted with a savoury sweet onion jam.
Vegetarian option available upon request.
The Discovery Pass costs $30 (+HST) and allows you to visit 6 different wineries along the wine route to enjoy complimentary VQA wines and culinary pairings. Our Gourmet Grilled Cheese Pairing can also be purchased on its own for $10 per person.
